Gláucia Mir
Brazillian born multi-disciplinary artist Gláucia Mir spent her childhood in São Paulo, and her teens and twenties in New York City, growing a passion for the city.
She then lived in Bucks County, PA for 5 years, which were formative in her love of the countryside. She spent several years in Florida, where she received her Master’s in Art Education from UF. Now she calls Black Mountain, NC, home.
In addition to her almost daily output of drawings, Gláucia is an art teacher. She has taught middle and high schoolers, preschoolers and adults.
