Although originally from Farmington, Connecticut, Kristalyn has been living in Western North Carolina since 2003. In 2007, she graduated from Mars Hill University with a BA in Art with concentrations in Printmaking, Religion/Philosophy and Women’s Studies.  Interests in the feminine, cultural norms, and nature occupy the forefront of her perspective. Photography, monoprinting and gum arabic transfer printing are her preferred processes.
